Natalie Grantner, LCSW

As a licensed clinical social worker, I specialize in treating eating disorders, mood disorders, anxiety, trauma, chronic illness, and issues related to aging. My approach is primarily rooted in psychodynamic therapy, but I also integrate other therapuetic interventions when appropriate to best meet the needs of my clients.

I hold a Master's in Social Work and am a certified Intuitive Eating Counselor. I have been working in the field of mental health since 2005 and have owned a solo private practice since 2017. My training includes extensive supervision in the treatment of eating disorders, as well as ongoing coursework in modern psychoanalysis and psychodynamic psychotherapy. This background allows me to provide a comprehensive and empathetic approach to therapy.

I am deeply passionate about helping individuals build self-awareness, foster meaningful connections, and engage in activities that lead to a fulfilling life. I believe in the importance of understanding how past experiences shape present behaviors, and I encourage my clients to explore these patterns in a safe and supportive environment.

In our work together, you can expect to be met with warmth and authenticity. I respect each client's autonomy and aim to create a therapeutic experience that is meaningful to you. My ideal clients are those interested in long-term therapy and are eager to gain deep insights into themselves.

I am an active member of the International Association of Eating Disorders Professionals and the Eating Disorder Task Force of Indiana. I have also presented at local community events and medical conferences on topics related to the outpatient treatment of eating disorders and intuitive eating.
